What makes us different.
Rubicon Mortgage Fund, LLC is the lender. We do not syndicate loans, source capital from outside parties, or involve third-party investors in individual transactions. Every loan is funded from our own capital.
We conduct our own internal property valuations and never require a third-party appraisal to approve a loan. This removes one of the most common sources of delay in the lending process.
Most lenders send out a third-party appraisal team to look at the property. We do not. Someone from Rubicon physically inspects each and every property we lend on, so the people underwriting the loan have seen the asset firsthand.
Underwriting, decision making, legal, and servicing are all handled internally, and your questions are answered in-house by the people working on your loan. With no outside dependencies in the chain, loans get approved and funded faster.
Lending decisions are based on the value of the collateral, not the borrower's credit score, tax returns, or personal financial statements. This allows us to serve a broader range of borrowers and deal types.
Lending in California since 2008 has given us extensive experience with complex and non-standard transactions including note hypothecations, cross-collateralized loans, trust lending, and deals that fall outside conventional guidelines.
